A font shaped by mÖvement. No boundaries or rules. Just play.
80% of children between the ages of 11 and 17 aren’t physically active enough, according to the WHO. Devices and the pandemic have made kids spend more time inside, resulting in major health problems such as obesity and diabetes. The essence of the campaign is to illustrate to parents and kids the importance of free play. The typography is inspired by children playing – with no rules, outdoors. Every movement made by kids playing in dirt was used as a basis for each letter in the alphabet. From a font inspired by children playing freely, to a book and e-book created to educate both parents and kids on the physical and mental advantages of playing outside and getting dirty in the meantime. Each letter taught parents about the benefits of playing, climbing trees and maybe sometimes even grazing the knees. At the end of the day, OMO will be there to clean up all the dirt, so let them go wild.
